I'm Dr Felicity Lynagh, a Chartered Counselling Psychologist with over fifteen years’ experience working in adult mental health services. I am registered with the HCPC, and a chartered member of the British Psychological Society.

Approach to therapy

No two people are the same, so my approach is to tailor the work to each individual. As a chartered psychologist, I am trained and experienced in a number of approaches (namely CBT, ACT, psychodynamic, systemic and person-centred approaches) and we will work together to find the best way to help support you on your personal growth journey.

Clients come and see me for a whole range of difficulties and my approach is to create a warm and confidential space to allow clients to think openly and without judgement about what is going on for them. I help clients identify a clear focus and by working collaboratively, we identify common traps and self-limiting beliefs and think of a way forward together. I teach powerful techniques to work towards your goals and help improve your sense of overall wellbeing.
